Jennifer has been a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for many years working in Colorado and South Dakota. After receiving her Baccalaureate in Nursing at South Dakota State University in Rapid City, SD she moved to Rochester, MN to begin her nursing career at Mayo Clinic. After spending 7 years as a nurse, she applied to the Mayo Clinic CRNA program and in 2018 graduated from Mayo Clinic’s first ever Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia program. Shortly after this, she moved her family to Colorado. After 2 years of working in Colorado, her and her husband decided to move her family back to their roots to raise their children, and she started a CRNA career at Monument Health.
As a CRNA, Jennifer is accustomed to giving ketamine every single day for anesthesia. Knowing the ins and outs of not only ketamine but adjunct medications, puts her in a unique position to administer ketamine safely for a variety of health reasons.
